Santa Fin rolled in the July 3rd Independence Parade with Green Mountain Self Advocates under the theme " Resilience " and "Follow Your Dreams " in his magical sleigh and Mama Claus and a retinue of elves, on a rainbow filled day in Montpelier Vermont, his hometown.

Santa Fin and his mom, Suki presented their workshop " Dreams Can Come True, How Fin Became Santa Fin at the Voices and Choices Conference in April , 2023 to a standing room only crowd, and also Fin received the Theresa Wood Citizenship Award, and Suki received The Green Mountain Self Advocates Ally of the Year award.

Santa Fin was given the keys to the city in Barre ,Vermont by the mayor, Jake Hemmerick , on December 20th, 2022, which celebrated Finbar Ciappara and all his accomplishments.

On December 9th, 2022, following the world premiere at DOCNYC, we had the local premiere of the HBO Max documentary “Santa Camp”, at the Savoy Theatre in Montpelier, Vermont.

In November 2022, we attended the world premiere of HBO Max's Santa Camp documentary, which we were featured in.

It was a fairy-tale experience that included a red carpet, showing of the film, and a wonderful after party in the West Village. Santa Fin had the time of his life! He was accompanied by his Mama Suki Claus, his elf Bill, and head elf and sister Rose and her husband, Mikey who came from Wales, UK to attend. It was a once in a lifetime experience, for sure!

In December of 2021, Santa Fin fulfilled his dream of being a Santa in a parade in The Festival of Lights parade in Waterbury, Vermont. It was a huge success, as his sleigh flew through the streets to cheering crowds, surrounded by his elves, as a magical light snow fell, and all of it was filmed for a documentary.

At the end of August 2021, Santa Fin and Mama Claus went to the New England Santa Society’s Santa Camp. Santa Fin had a great time! He got to meet many other Santas and we learned about creating backdrops, staging, parades, public event planning, beard maintenance and costuming. It was a full weekend of joy and new friends.
